  • People analytics is future of HR in India, shows LinkedIn report

    "Currently, managers often need to spend time filling in forms, updating information and approving workflows. By using AI to automate these tasks, they can spend less time managing transactions and can invest more time on learning, performance management and goal setting," Helen Poitevin, research vice- president at Gartner, said.

  • Cabinet clears decks for more seafarer jobs

    Indian seafarers will be eligible to be placed on ships under the flag of another country for employment, thus leading to increased employment opportunities, the government said. “The bilateral MoU would, therefore, make the seafarers of both countries eligible for employment on ships of either party, based on the certificates so recognised,” an official statement said.
